COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

The Business Association of Suring Area supports a number community initiatives through funds raised through Membership Dues and Fundraisers.

Contributions have included but are not limited to: Suring Area Playground, Scholarships, the Suring sign on CTY RD M, benches and flowers along Main Street, Kid’s Halloween Party, holiday decorations at Riverside Park, donations to other organizations and initiatives such as, Veteran’s Park Food Stand donation, Suring Cross Country, Riverside Park Ice Rink, Teacher Appreciation, Suring Youth Running Group, Community Wellness Night donations, National Night Out donations,  and much more.

MEMBER BENEFITS

The benefits of joining the Business Association of Suring Area Inc. include, but are not limited to:
  • Networking opportunities with area professionals at meetings
  • Support of local initiatives, including discussion of “area revitalization and marketing opportunities”.
  • Past contributions include paying for half of the new sign on M&R, purchasing benches and planters in the Village of Suring, contributing funds to holiday décor on Main Street, new flags, donating to the Suring Area Playground, donating to the Suring Food Stand, donations to other organizations & more.
  • Special sponsored events.  In the past this has included speakers, business tours and fundraisers, including a craft fair and raffle for the Suring Area Playground Committee.
  • Kid’s Community Halloween Party on the Saturday before/closest to Halloween
