MAY 29 ANNOUNCEMENT: After careful consideration and the monitoring of other similar events cancelling or postponing due to COVID-19 safety and wellness concerns, we have made the tough decision to cancel our 2020 Conquer Suring Hill 5K/10K Walk & Run that was scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2020. We hope to see you back in 2021. Thank you all sponsors and participants for your ongoing support.
Come join the fun and conquer "THE HILL" in Suring, WI on Labor Day Weekend. Experience our course that offers panoramic views and a scenic route through countryside & village of Suring. Walk it or run it! Sign up for the 5K or 10K routes, both races go up the hill. Afterward, enjoy the Labor Day Festivities right in town. Age Brackets
Male and Female Brackets: Each age group will be awarded 1st, 2nd & 3rd
Finish Music, Refreshments, Snacks and More Note: All 5K & 10K runners and walkers will be issued a race bib that contains a computerized timing chip. This ensures accurate timing by automatically recording the time when participants cross the start line and finish line. Their chip time will be their official time. View 2019 Race Results |
Sponsorship Information
Sponsorships are available ranging from $50-$500, as well as donations such as water, snacks and promo items. Sponsorships help us offset costs and provide an opportunity to have your business or organization promoted to over 300 participants and 75+ volunteers. We print an average of 400 shirts! Select sponsorships also include free event entries. Thank you all for your ongoing support!
Race Information
- Water will be provided at the finish line area and at water stations on the course. Feel free to bring a bottle to carry throughout the run or to have at the beginning
- The event will take place rain or shine. In the unlikely event of severe weather, the event may be postponed or cancelled—but we’ll do our best to make sure the run continues as planned.
- We’ll take precautions as recommended by the National Weather Service but only in extreme cases would the event be cancelled.
- No pets are allowed.
- Sorry, no strollers are allowed as the race course is narrow in areas.
- By participating in the 2017 "Conquer Suring Hill" run, you acknowledge and agree to the release waiver that was presented to you as part of the registration process.
- For children under the age 12 that will be participating in the event, a release waiver must be signed by the parent/guardian.

Thank you for supporting the Business Association of Suring Area's largest community event and fundraiser. BASA and the Conquer Suring Hill run committee use all proceeds to support ongoing community initiatives.
